IFF Businesses Acquired
Solbar Hatzor, Ashdod, Israel, has ac­quired a line of soy protein products formerly sold under the Bontrae™ name from International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), New York, NY. After a brief transition period, the Bontrae product will be known as Bontex.
Close Brothers Private Equity (CBPE), London, U.K., has acquired IFF’s fragrance aroma chemicals business in Widnes, U.K. The new company will be known as Aroma & Fine Chemicals Ltd.
